50 isn't lame at all! Congratulations on a great year of reading!
I have 'The Tenderness of Wolves' sitting on my shelf, I'll have to pick it up sometime soon. I see a lot of other ones that I have enjoyed on your list as well. I hope 2010 is another successful year for you!
50 is good...your favorites list is solid. I've got The Tenderness of Wolves on my TBR and I've been circling Loving Frank for several months now.
Have a great 2010 reading year!
I really loved The Help too. There are several others you list that I want to read in 2010. And I think 50 is great, by the way!
This is truly inspiring. Barbara Kingsolver will be presenting writers' workshops at the San Miguel Writers Conference in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico February 19-23 2010. I just signed up. It looks like a rare opportunity to meet her. Are you going?
Wasn't The Guernsey Literary and peel pie society so good? I gave it to everyone to read! I'm so glad it made your top 20. and reading 50 books is an achievement. There have been years when I haven't managed that much, which I am ashamed to say! Isn't it good to read so many books that you enjoyed in a year?
